Samick Serial Number Guide
Samick serial number can be found on the back of the headstock or the neck plate, and on (semi) acoustic guitars, it may be located on the bottom inside of the body, either stamped or displayed as a sticker.

Dating Höfner By Serial Number
To find Höfner serial number, examine the back or the top edge of the guitar’s headstock. For semi-hollow and acoustic models, check the label located within the upper f-hole.
Dating Fender Amps by Serial Number
Fender amplifiers produced from 1990 to the present have a date code that can be found on the QA sticker located at the back of the amplifier chassis. In older versions, the serial number is stamped on the right-hand side of the chassis.
Potentiometer Codes
In case the serial number of an electric guitar is absent, it is possible to date your guitar by checking the potentiometers. The potentiometer codes can be observed on the back or side of the pots.
